Thanks ladies, that's more or less exactly where my pain is, this makes me feel better that it might be all related to the hormones, it's so annoying isn't it with all these things going on which individually you might think it's serious but because we have so many other aches and pains it is probably just part and parcel of the lovely menopause. I just spend too much time worrying about it all! I have managed to track this month, now that the periods are back, so am trying to see whether the pains are worse when I know hormones should be rising or falling but I'm not sure that works really! I am very right sided pain orientated too, from my wrist and neck which have been bad for years to my right ovary which is the one that always has cysts on it. I do pilates now which helps alot, sitting/driving are not great for me. Well maybe it's not a serious kidney disorder after all! I do feel such an idiot going to the doctors with all the pains, but on the other hand we have recently lost a friend here who was told it was the menopause when infact it was more serious. But as she was only 47 they didn't take her aches and pains and general unwell feeling very seriously. So I tell myself we just need to ask the GP if we are worried about something!
