Hi,

So I started taking HRT (Femoston 1/10) on Sunday....

Could someone tell me briefly what I should expect my cycle to do ie when should my bleed arrive etc? I am peri and waited for the 1st day of my 'natural' period to arrive and so took my first tablet on Day 1 of my cycle.

Hi,
I started femoston back in april
1st pack= bleed 3 pills before end  of pack so day 26
2nd and since= 3 days AFTER finishing a pack, so 3 days after the progesterone ends.
I think the first one was just new treatment etc, because from my pill days, you always had a bleed when you were on the 7 pill free days.
It might be hit and miss to start and there are loads on here with more experience than me,
I would go for a few days after the progesterone bit, so about 2-3 days into a new (oestrogen only pills)pack.
I have to be honest though, my peri symptoms were SO annoying I couldn't have cared less when i bled!

Thanks for your reply.  I read the leaflet that came with the pills but it just said you will have a bleed once a month, I just wondered at what point this was supposed to happen.....
