Femoston 1/10
« on: July 29, 2018, 02:46:04 PM »

Hi I feel like I'm asking similar questions on my posts but am now seriously thinking of taking Femoston 1/10 Badically felt awful before hol Away for 7 days, no headaches just bearable anxiety Came back after a night flight and spent all day in bed with tension headache (period started the day before) Was on Estroven which I got from America Bought a similar herbal supplement here in the uk Menovital which I started on Fri when other ran out Have continued to feel tired and irritable Today I have added anxiety, strange aches and pains, a headache and feel sick and spaced So do I stick to the new herbal which is similar to the one I've taken for the past year or take HRT?
Thanks x

Hi Sammas.
I would take the hrt if I were you.
I'm not a believer in herbal supplements, they don't work for me,
Although I'm not saying they don't work for everyone, the only thing that has helped
Me is femoston. I'm on femoston conti, and has been good for me.

Jillydoll, How were you feeling before the HRT? How long before you noticed a difference? X

Hi sammas.
God, I was feeling awful, irritable, moods all over the place, really really down,
crying for anything and everything, anxiety threw the roof, not sleeping,
night sweats. Most things really....
I'm nearly 4years post meno now, and started on patches but in hindsight, probably didn't
stay on them long enough, because they gave me terrible migraines. So quit hrt, lasted about 4 months
on nothing, then January this year, things started off again, so went back on hrt(femoston conti)
In February, started on the ultra low dose, 0.5mg, and that done the trick, I'd say, about a week,
maybe less, I started to feel better.
Up until end of last month, when things stared up again, so I highered the dose, went to doctors
told her and she said fine, now I'm on 1,1/2mg .
Apart from the odd day when I feel a bit down, they've been my life saver. Because I'm sure everyone
still has those days wheather they're on hrt or not....
Give them ago, you can always change to another type, or higher the dose. Or stop altogether,
Your quality of life is much more important.....
Hope this helps you, hope you start to feel better soon.....keep us informed.
