You take the Utrogestan orally just before bed because it will have a strong sedative effect. This should wear off by morning. Some women like that Utrogestan helps them sleep better.
The side effects are stronger when taken orally. Hopefully the bleeding will stop once the Utrogestan takes effect in a day or two so you can then go back to using it vaginally.
