Estrogel pump and hand luggage for flight
« on: June 12, 2018, 06:56:55 AM »

Hello there

Has anyone had any experience of taking an 80mg pump of Estrogel in hand luggage for a short haul flight? I'm heading to Amsterdam for a few days for work and don't want to get my Estrogel confiscated, and also don't want to put my small amount of luggage in the hold.

Thank you!

Brilliant. Thank you very much Daisydot. I'll take a tube with the prescription note on it, just in case. I know it's under the 100m. (at 80g), but the tube looks quite big and I don't trust them not to confiscate!

Is there a limit to how much you can bring back Daisydot?

It's more what you can source Robin as they were struggling because of manufacturing problems but I suppose it depends on areas you go to.I got two lenzetto sprays (oestrogen) and one testosterone 2% then some granules that you dilute in water and do a sitz bath or splash for v.a,I've not needed to use them yet they are commonly prescribed by gynaecologist but again not available here.
I had them all in clear bags as instructed and no issues whatsoever.I will be doing the same this trip.If it's precsribed by gynie or pharmacist there it's no different to us taking our scripts or meds into their country is it.xx

No it isn't at all is it but I was thinking more along the lines of if I get as far as a holiday abroad I would definitely buy some but if I bought too much would they think I was buying it for commercial reasons? I guess there's only so much a pharmacist would prescribe in the same way as gp over here though xx

They're only little containers lenzetto is like dove roll on deodorant size as is Tostran I think if you bought twice yearly it wouldn't be an issue that's all I'm doing they can get stuffed here now I've had enough cow-towing I'll go to my spanish docs again it's worth paying the yearly fee it was always the private script costs that worried me but compared to here it's a no brainier.xx

I flew with Easyjet from Gatwick to Athens a couple of months ago. I asked the pharmacist to label the pump and put it in the 'liquids bag'. No-one paid any attention to it at Gatwick and they were only mildly interested at Athens.
