Advice please
« on: April 29, 2018, 05:53:12 PM »

I've just completed my first Sequi trial of Estradot 37.5mg daily and Uterogestan 200mcgs for 12 days.
I tried taking the Uterogestan continuously but my anxiety levels were through the roof, felt such anger, sadness that it felt unsustainable.
Thanks to the forum I discovered the Sequi method (my G.P. although nice, laughed when I said I could use it pv for e.g.so not much help there), and as above have completed the Uterogestan 4/7 ago.
My (probably very stupid) question is, when should I expect a bleed. Nothing as yet but I presume I'm feeling the withdrawal of the Uterogestan from my body..feeling edgy, grumpy.
Thank you

kernow, I find Utrogestan stays in my system for a long time and I usually bleed about 6 days after using the last capsule.

You could probably get away with halving that dose of Utrogestan.  You are on a low dose patch and using Utrogestan vaginally meaning it all reaches the womb as opposed to up to 50% of it getting lost in your digestive system when used orally.  I think Cassie on here take 100mg vaginally for 12 days with one pump of gel which is about the equivalent of a 50 mcg patch.

Thanks Mary G,

That makes a lot of sense..will try reducing to 100mcg of Uterogestan on next cycle.

And thanks CLKD...you're all gems :)

Hi girls,

Yes I'm the one out of the 7 dwarves! Quite full on at work today so just put my head down and got on with it.
It's been so long since I've had a period I'm waiting for any sign. Bit of a gripey tum so maybe ‘the shedding' is on its way!
Sounds like a horror film doesn't it ;D
Hope you're both recovering from your back, leg etc ....
 :thankyou:

Ladies,

Can I please ask...I'm D 10 now on first Sequi after stopping Uterogestan and no bleed, nothing.
Felt abdominal gripes as if something may happen but nothing did.
Can this happen? Bit worried the lining has not shed.
Thanks ...advice welcomed x

Kernow, if you've only just started using HRT then it's possible your lining has not built up enough to shed.   You are on a very low dose of oestrogen and took a high dose of Utrogestan.
