You have changed to a totally different type of HRT so your body is rebelling right now. You have changed from conti to sequi and also changed from patches to pills - this a big change!!!!
It may well settle but this could take a few weeks I'm afraid.
How long have you been on the Femoston? DG x

Hi Lisa1966 - are you feeling this way on the oestrogen only part of Femoston or just when you are on the combined oestrogen with progesterone pills? It's difficult to say whether this will settle as this is very early days yet.
Why did you change from the Evorel conti to the Femoston? DG x

Hi dancing girl, there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it,I feel like it in both parts. I came off evorel as I was feeling anxious and then not sticking very well. I wanted to try either estrogel and ugestan or estradot and ugestan, but dr said that was defeating the object,I think it was more about cost.

Your doctor doesn't understand about HRT hormones!!!!
Anyway, Utrogestan isn't always good for mood - it can have a sedative effect which might be helpful but effects can vary greatly from one women to another.
If you feel irritable on oestrogen alone then that is tricky. However, if you just switched straight from the Evorel to Femoston without a break to allow a proper reboot then you may simply be adjusting the this very different regime.
What meno symptoms are you wanting to control? DG x

Mood swings, insatiable sugar cravings, depression, wind and bloating, just feeling unwell and no motivation. I'm on antidepressants, keeping my head above water. Was trying to eat well today but had 4 custard creams,4 digestives, lemon meringue pie and a Cadbury caramel 😭 Lisax

HRT won't necessarily help the symptoms you are trying to control. HRT will reduce flushes and night sweats and if low mood and anxiety are hormone related then that can be helped by HRT as well.
The symptoms you are describing sound more like problems with thyroid function or possibly diabetes - have you had these things checked??? ADs can also increase appetite. Eating all that sugary stuff will give you massive sugar rushes and then a big downer - it's no wonder you are irritable. You may also need to review you AD to see if you need something different.
I'd ask to have a blood test for thyroid and diabetes and some advice about diet as this would help more than anything right now. DG x
