Good afternoon Ladies, a month ago I switched from Estelle Conti Duet to Femoston Conti which is 1/5 the dose, I'm interested to know if anyone knows when the old higher level of HRT will have left my system so I gauge if my symptoms are being controlled by this lower dose

Not very helpful as I've no real experience of your HRT- sorry.
You might find speaking to your local pharmacist could give you some idea.

My experience of my HRT gel/patches is that I could literally feel the gel wearing off and with patches had a dip the day after I changed so for me it would be 24 hours

Yes I agree with salad was the same for me I had big dips on the patches as my dose was getting lower so I decided to change to the Oestrogel and was able to manage and absorb better.ask your local pharmacist as suggested they're usual more knowledgable than the gps anyway.good luck x

It's not so much the old HRT clearing from your system but more about your body adjusting to the different hormones and a different dose. These changes will usually take up to 3 months. DG x
