Hi - love this forum which has been interesting to read the advice and experiences you are all going through. I'm nearly 48 and in the throws of the menopause. No HRT just taking herbal supplements and also I have thyroid probs too. My periods are all over the place. Some months I bleed heavily for days on end and then the last few months have been "normal" considering.
I am now experiencing bloating once I finish a period, especially when sitting down and pelvic pressure pain with a sort of sore feeling in my left ovary. My joints ache, my hair is thinning and I have incredible brain fog. I have been to the doctors at the beginning of the week and I am now being referred for ovarian cancer tests! So as you can imagine.... I'm worried.
I have simplified my diet this week which has made some difference but the symptoms are still there. Also, the symptoms seems ok first thing in the morning but progressively get worse during the day? Honestly, the things us woman have to go through!
