Take them to the pharmacy & get some new ones. Expiry date is there for a reason.  :D

I wouldn't worry about it - I mean they are not going to be OK one day and then not the next. It's like food - the margin is enormous. Maybe they will gradually become less effective over time but I was using bits of out of date estradot 37.5 for ages and out of date utrogestan well beyound one year. If they haven't been exposed to excessive heat then why not use them - what's the worst that can happen - you might get a slightly lower dose? If it was an orally adminstered life-saving drug or anti-biotics I would be a bit more cautious - but an oestrogen patch? - use 'em!

Thanks Susiq99 for your advice.

Thanks Hurdity. I managed 10 month on Angeliq which was one of the best treatments I have tried. However I started with migraines which woke me during the night, also acne. So decided to stop them. With Angeliq being a low dose I'm not sure where to start on patches?? any advice?? will go back to 7 days on Northisterone as it worked for several years with no problems.

I'd use them Warwick, I do go by expiry dates on food but even then if it's the right colour and smell I'd eat that out of date, only days though lol x

Hi Annie 0710

Thanks, I was gutted about Angeliq but the migraines were so bad I couldn't get off the bed. I always think with headaches its a sign to stop taking the medication. I'm just going to use the out of date patches until I can decide what next. My GP is useless but a lovely lady. She just gives me what I ask for. I think I should start low but not sure how 1mg tablet compares' with a patch... is it 25 or 37.5 ??

p.s any idea how Tempest is doing?? I really miss her on this site >:(

I was on 2mg elleste solo when I switched to Estradot.  I gambled at 75mcg but I think it was too high, 50mcg suited me better.  I'm now on 2.5 pumps of oestrogel so on that basis 37.5mcg seems about right

I don't hear from Tempest but saying that she wrote on Facebook last week saying she's ok xx
