I have recently been changed from Premerin tabs to Ovestin cream. What changes should I expect. I'm scared that my mood swings will return.

Hi NewHRT - I wouldn't have thought that the change from one to the other will make a difference to your mood swings but it's something that you will only find out by actually trying the Ovestin. Do you mind me asking why you were changed from Premarin?

Welcome from me too. Ovestin is used to treat vaginal atrophy. It is not absorbed systemically so will not address any menopausal symptoms other than that. May I ask why you were not prescribed another systemic product?
