Blood clot

Hi
I'm 53 years old and have been on Evorel conti patches for roughly two months , Dr was not happy to put me on HRT as at the age of 38 I had a stroke or so it was believed but Dr's were unable to confirm at the time.
I feel as though I am bleeding ( I'm not ) along with lower abdominal discomfort and have small stringy blood clots. Is this normal / expected what should I do
I haven't had a period for around 4 years + . The patches have helped with hot flushes but my mood is very low.

Yes, some bleeding and spotting is quite normal on any conti HRT in the first few weeks or even months. If this hasn't settled by six months then this will need investigating or switch to something else. DG x
