IT has for me too, but since introducing testosterone to my mix I'm getting out and about more.  I don't think it ever was to do with oestrogen levels for me

Yes yes yes - first thing I've read that describes that feeling of 'I just can't be bothered to say anything', let alone go out socially. My social life has pretty much disappeared; it's been compounded by having breast cancer treatment last year, which comes with the double whammy of physical weakness, nausea, baldness etc from chemotherapy, and general loss of confidence. I got used to only going out if I really had to, and somehow since recovery I just haven't got any further.

I can identify with this...and the more I do this, the more I like it, so I many times force myself to be more sociable. But I really struggle with big groups and feel exhausted afterwards.
