Hi BJ
Just read your first post and I can relate to a lot of it.

Nausea, no appetite and unable to eat are my worst at the moment. I feel hungry and eat and then feel sick . I'm exhausted and just feel so ill. X

Dear Dotty,

It's really not nice at all......started being nauseous and loss of appetite.....feel hungry but when I ate, next I feel nauseous.

So I had to change to eating very small portions. Now I take a lot of soups and stews....also found that taking Greek yogurt does help.

Sorry that you are feeling ill......Big hugs to you.....may we feel better soon

Hi Dotty,

Just to put your mind at ease.....recently, I went to see my gp and had a long discussion on each on my list of symptoms and she very gently said that all these are perimenopause symptoms. All due to the fluctuations or declining of hormones.
Honestly, part of me didn't believe her because I feel sick and I seek for answers and reassurance by asking here. There are ladies here who are going through the same and by knowing, it made me feel that I am not alone. It amazes me on how the ladies coped!
Dotty, I do feel for you.....it's really a daily struggle.  :'( :'( :'(
Sending you positive and healing vibes. Bj

Thanks BJ.

I can't believe that something so natural can make you feel so ill.  I've had every blood test under the sun because doc doesn't think my symptoms are due to menopause!
I keep hoping that one day soon I'll feel normal again and be able to live my life properly x

This is my first visit to this blog after being diagnosed with early menopause.

In Feb 2016 my GP took me off the combined pill and put me on a POP. (Aged 42) Within a couple of months I Started to get menopausal symptoms but my GP didn't seem to believe me saying I was too young. (My mum was in her early 30s when she went through it) By August I pursuaded him to do blood tests but  had to come off the pill for 12 weeks first. LH and FSH levels came back as post menopausal. Had a second set of tests done 8 weeks after and Same  result. Saw gynacologist who put me back on a lower dose of the combined pill, 20mg, which all but stopped the aching joints and hot flushes but not other symptoms. Now been back on origional combined pill 30 mg for 6 months but still have constant foggy unfocused head, itchy legs, dry skin, thinning hair, low mood bordering  depression, (mostly due to feeling so crap all the time) fatigue, lack of enthusiasm for things I used to enjoy, no sex life at all, chest pain on and off (had ECG, all ok) and am just about at the end of my teather. At 44 I feel about 70! Appointment next week to discuss HRT but not feeling confident it will help.

Hello Dotty,

Hope you are better today.

Isn't HRT helping ease the symptoms?

Hello Victorianankervis,

Sorry to hear about the rough time you are having......it's just such a horrible time for all of us.

I too feel like a creaky 90 year old....

Why are you not confident about HRT?

Sending you hugs and take care, Bj
