I'm terrified of starting everything but I'm going to trial the gel/ utro as I'm desperate to feel like I'm living again and not just exhisting day to day. I've been reading up about menopause and mood not that I understand it much but I just want someone to say or clarify that I feel this way because of lack of hormones. If I had suffered in the past or recognised a pattern I could understand it more but it has no rhyme or reason to it. X

I know what you mean..when I had my breakdown looking back 5 years since everything went wring from then on and I put it down to mental health not physical health..and like you I just want confirmation it's hormonal but it's the only illness that can't have a test that show results and there's a cure..it's guess work and with so many people with different symptoms you just don't have a clue...I w9nt start my gel/utro til after Xmas as although I feel just awful I felt much worse on hrt initially and I don't want that over Xmas..I'm a mad grumpy anxious horrid mess already but I can't add to that..please let me know how you get on with the hrt I'll keep fingers crossed for you
