Hi,
I am five years post meno and generally my symptoms have settled or gone. No hot flushes and only the occasional night sweat. Mood not bad with the worst of anxiety under control. Brain fog a little persistent but not as bad. However, I am getting increasing periods of aches and pains which I don't know if are caused by hormone loss or just getting older.
My hand have spells of being quite stiff but only usually for a week or two, and then they improve. I also get a lot of aches and stiffness in my lower back and down my legs. This is not really bad pain more annoying aching which makes walking uncomfortable, and sometimes disturbs my sleep. I do try and keep active with walking and occasionally my exercise bike. I also have started taking B vits as they are said to be good for inflammation. I also take Vit D and omega 3.
Do any of you post meno ladies experience the same, and if so can you give me some tips of how to deal with this. I am looking to get one on those exercise elastic band as they are supposed to be good for flexibility, but who knows.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
