Hi Hurdity
I haven't stopped the T, I just reduced the e a little in case the T was pushing it over the top and reduced my pea a little. The bone chilling coldness went, mbut I do think I needed the extra bit of E. I did come across a study today on T and it did mention bleeding. more of it occurred in the group on the slightly higher Dose of T, so I now do think it's possible it's the T. I also read that some women continue to produce T from the ovaries even after menopause. The half life of T I think is 2 weeks, much longer than E or P. I'm still not sure if it's my period, but it would be very coincidental and it would be breaking through the Utrogestan. I'm not sure too if it might be how I react to transdermal. I didn't react well to estrogel. I hope not as I am seeing benefits from the T, but maybe as you say they should build slowly and I am seeing them too quickly. I'm using the teeniest bit, it will last 3-4 weeks.
There seems to be some interesting and contradictory research on T. From what I seem to have read, if I'm understanding it right, all T aromatizes into E in women. When we are younger 3 times more of our E comes from T than from e alone.
I'm interested in anything you can find about it. I'll research too. It might be worth learning s bit more about how the aromatase enzyme works. P has a role in increasing t too. The research I found today said that there was no evidence Dhea did anything, but that is the precursor to T. All a minefield I think
