Hi all I'm on testim gel but no one has told me where is best to use the gel...thigh, arms etc any advice would be much appreciated.

I was told to use Testim on my tummy but  I'm now using Tostran and I've moved from thigh to shin as coarse hair was growing on application site

Shell I didn't get coarse hair with Testim (might just be me) so I kept it on my tummy

I use testogel - same concentration as testim and apply to inside of knee. Will pm you with some more personal info about application site as this thread is in the chat section of the forum!

Thank you so much for the message and information its very much appreciated. I shall go with the lower leg area (hair growth not as much of an issue then.) I'll also take a look at your info as suggested.

I read somewhere it's best to rotate sites and not use the same place for 10 days.

Has anyone had any side effects with T?  I'm trying to pluck io the courage to give it a go

So far so good on T

Oct-Dec on Testim gel
Jan-may Tibolone which converted to mimic testosterone
May- present Tostran gel

Annie any difference in the types of gel?  Did you mention before it's helped your hair?  Mines still coming out some, but has got stronger on Premarin.  I think.

Yes Tostran is double the strength of Testim and testogel and comes in a much bigger amount (canister)

I think I must just need a higher dose than the average female as I really didn't notice any difference at all with Testim x

Do you have any side effects?  Weight gain or anything?

I'm at the same weight as I was on Tibolone.  So about 5lb heavier than I was at Xmas but lighter than I was this time last year on oestrogen alone x
