Hi ..have been prescribed vagifem but only 24 of them. Was told to take 2 a week but because I had not been getting on with ovestin and had left off treating my dry vagina I think I needed to do a reload of 14 days and then 2 a week. Have been using 4 a week which is just about having an effect. Had a UTI and still painful. Am thinking of getting a private prescription on line as afraid doc wont give me anyomre.

Has anyone here done this and had to get online vagifem for fear of running out. Sorry I am rambling. Have come to wits end with these symptons.x

Onlinepharmacy are very good
But first off I'd chat with your dr and explain.  It's such a low dose there's no reason why they shouldn't prescribe you an extra box

Sometimes GPs don't put a 'repeat' request until they know how the patient gets on with the product.  So give your Surgery a ring and ask for it to be put onto 'repeat' "because I have gained benefit" - do a re-load and you may require use every night for a while until the vagina has taken up the treatment.  It used to be 25mg .......... which seemed to suit most ladies.  Then 'they' changed it to 10mg

They don't offer, you have to ask but by right you can have what you need.  I get 2 boxes at a time on repeat and use it every other night, wouldn't be without it now
