Love the men's tennis - especially Federer's grace & brilliance with such a huge variety of shots - no-one like him on court for riveting entertainment to my mind, but as mentioned by I think, Dulciana (sorry, meno-brain means I've lost the thread already), also sometimes find his interviews a bit disappointing. Was discussing this with OH last night, he wonders whether a cultural thing, by which he meant upbringing, but I thought perhaps drilled into players by sports psychologists, coaches etc. Perhaps as they are presumably coached to have unshakeable belief in themselves, this becomes so hard-wired that it isn't always switched off after a match & can come across as a bit arrogant. I liked that yesterday he mentioned that Cilic "smashed" him in a previous match though - bringing to attention past defeats seemed to show he knows he's not invincible & shows respect for other players.
Have always loved Rafa too & some of his interviews are endearing. Hate the on-court tantrums & found Murray's little one, not long into his final match, such a turn-off I was rooting for Querry!
