Now that little routine before his serve is really annoying actually, I want to slap his hand! He lifts his shirt shoulders, has a fiddle with his underpants, adjusts his bits, touches his face. it is a habit or a bit of OCD, really can't work it out at all. However, I watched his match tonight and I love the power of his game. I find with Andy I'm sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Johanna Konya had me bouncing up and down cheering for her. She could go all the way. Every grandslam winner has to win their first championship somewhere.

I kept cheering her and with wide open windows the neighbours must have wondered what on earth was going on :vibe: I should be so lucky.

Don't think Venus Williams is playing so well this year. With Serena out of action due to pregnancy, it's anyone's championships for the taking. Now, there's one baby who will want for nothing. Hope all goes well for Serena, her husband and their baby.

Johanna has a strange routine too before she serves. Twiddles racket in right hand & ball in her left.

It would have been good to see Murray through, but today he's been beaten by a better player. I'm glad I'm not one of Murray's entourage, I don't think his reactions are going to be pretty. Must admit hoping that the 1st set was going to set the tone of the match and am disappointed it didn't. Much as I don't believe in making excuses for a bad performance, I do think that something is definitely off with him today.

With Nadal out of the picture, I hoped very much to watch a magnificent Federera/Murray final. Oh well, maybe next year.

He was so obviously in pain today. His movements were very limited.

Such a shame.

All the British hopes are on Jo's shoulders now.

Not a Federer fan - never have been.   When he's interviewed, a self-satisfaction comes across that I find off-putting.   :-\

So long as Djokovic doesn't win Wimbledon!

Andy was grimacing a lot today & holding his hip in between points.  :'(

Djokovic out. Had to retire. Shame because he's a good watch, if only for his antics.

I'm not sure I can watch today  :o

I find tennis very stressful - the way it can be all over in one hit  :-\

I didn't watch Andy yesterday and am glad.  I will be watching Johanna, with the ironing as a distraction.

I noticed that. She doesn't bounce the balls just moves her hand up and down. Very odd.
