Domestic cats are really only large wild ones we make such a fuss about. You have to accept that your sweet 'Tiddles' sat happily on your lap KNOWS she/he is a lion, tiger, cheeter, leopard at heart, but just a mini version. Dogs are still wolves at heart.

Just wait until all cats rise up to remind us that in ancient Egypt, they were considered to be gods! They will demand that we mere humans pay deference to them😸😸😸😸😸

I know one who charges around just like the "Scottie". Come to that, I knew the Scottie that it's based on! He and his 2 Scottie predecessors are much missed.

Slight side track, yesterday our darling hen Virginia passed away.  We think that the heat might have something to do with it, she's already so badly missed.  Have arranged to take her to the vet for cremation, rather than burying her in the garden.  When we get the latter sorted out, all aches from various pets are going to go there, under a tree.

My MIL tried the plant 'Scary cat', it didn't do much but I suspect you need more than one to keep cats at bay from the garden.  It's quite a nice plant, unless you happen to be feline ;)  It's worth a try for anyone having problems with neighbourhood cats in your garden and after birds.

Not at the moment CLKD as I have just given her a bath & she hates it!!
I have to entice her in with chews then grab her by the collar to get her in. She then becomes absolutely motionless, it does make me laugh.
Once free she goes mad running around the bungalow, then out in the garden, then back in again. She does enjoy a good rubdown with a towel though.
She smells sweet as a daisy now.

Ours used to find a puddle/mud spot after a bath, she would drag her bedding through then roll herself until she smelt 'right'  ;D

I got home from school one day and saw one snowy white West Highland Terrier with a beautiful black oily stripe down his back from nose, over head, along back and all the way the tip of his tail. :scottie: :scottie: Went indoors and asked Dad if he'd had fun bathing Mac and had he seen Mac since. I got one of those looks that only Dads can give. Then Mac followed me in from right underneath the car. I disappeared upstairs before Dad and Mum cleaned the dog.

The "cat" had had a power washer turned on it twice today.
Yesterday I saw it take a gold finch and a sparrow.

I'm beginning to hate this ...cat....and it may well get more of the above. The power spray was on full throttle and I just caught it's tail....that's where I was aiming ....so hopefully it might just go away for a while.
Trouble is I'm not looking out all the time.
My bird feeders are empty....just loosing too many right now.

Hubby mutters over this as he is the one that has to dispose of the kills if they are left behind.
I just wish it would go away....heck that was polite  ;D

This power washer is really strong and if it doesn't get the message I won't just aim for its tail....Just a little bit towards its middle might work because that might hurt a tiny bit without doing any harm. I've told the neighbour that owns the cat what I'm doing and she said to just carry on....
I'm taking her at her word.

Me versus cats....
