Post menopausal but still getting period pains

Good morning ladies

Here I am again!!  I've been period free for 6 years now but still my symptoms continue.  I've been absolutely fine for the last few weeks but over the last few days have started to feel sick, stomach ache, anxiety and dizziness.  My husband has also felt a little "off it" and so I put my symptoms down to a bug of some sort but I felt really really dizzy last night with my head spinning and this morning have woken feeling really anxious.  I have awful stomach ache - period pain.  I know now that this is menopause symptoms again but is anyone else post menopausal and still getting period pains and hormone changes?  How long does this cycle continue?

I am taking low level ADs for anxiety and panic attacks which have helped considerably as I need to go to work and am also taking HRT which most of the time mean I carry on with life but every month I have a few days of feeling awful again so I know that something is happening with my hormones still is there anyone else that is suffering still so long after their periods stopped?

Thanks ladies for your support it means the world having this site to turn to when I feel no one u dress ands xx
