Has anyone experienced it? I'm wondering if it's menopause related or a side effect of Qlaira.

I get it along with a burning neck - assume it is when I have low oestrogen. Usually comes at the same time as slight numbness in fingers and toes, and sometimes mouth. Weirdly mine is only on the right hand side of my body, my colleague has the same thing but only on the left hand side of her body!

I wonder if it's a reaction to something in Qlaira. I got it on Yasmin too, but not as bad as with Qlaira. I thought it was an allergic reaction at the time. Never got it on Funnily it's coincided with the progesterone going up from 2mg to 3mg. The oestrogen is 2mg

Nearly50 that's strange you only get it on one side of your face. I get it on both. Although thinking about it, it's usually a bit worse in the right. It starts when I wake up.
Stellajane. I'm thinking if doing that. It's a shame as otherwise I like the Qlaira mood wise. Ultrogestan is an option the gynae has give with oestrogel, but I'm going on a yoga retreat next weekend and didn't want to try until after in case of unexpected bleeding. Or there's back to femodene which didn't do this but wasn't good for the libido. It's such a challenge to find the right progesterone

Stellajane, it is like a riddle. It's not in Cilest either. I changed from Yasmin to that and it was fine for a coiled of years then I started to get low moods. If you get it sometimes with ultrogestan then it may be in that too.

I'll post after a couple of pill free days and see if it has gone and that it's not coincidental that it has appeared with Qlaira. I don't think it is.

Stellajane I think dahliagirl has hit the nail on the head that progesterone raises basal body temperature and with a wonky peri thermostat it's causing the night sweats. This would link with the raise from 2mg when it was good to 3mg. I think Qlaira may be higher progesterone than Femodene. But then I don't think Yasmin is any higher than Femodene.

This is one of my main symptoms (along with palpitations, not always together though).
Not getting hot flushes as such, just a face you could fry eggs on, lol. (not fully clear if I'm in peri menopause yet, the doctor wants to try me on femoston for a month and see how I am, but I'm reluctant. I turn 47 in a few days so thinking it must be. Many other tests have come back normal)

Rosana are you on the pill? It started for me at 47 with Yasmin. I'm not 49 and it's happening w Qlaira. I think Dhaliagirl has hit the nail in the head in her post above.
Stellajane I've had no problems in the day just at night and strangely not on the 2mg progesterone part of Qlaira. The Gynae has recommended Utrogestan. Do you have any other problems with it? Mom worried about my hair.
Dhaliagirl how did you find Femodene? I liked it for hair and skin and it stopped my bleeding. I'm tempted to give it another go. It's just it seemed to kill my libido

It did get better without the Qlaira for a few days, but muscle pains, snappy etc got worse. At the moment I'm taking half a Qlaira. I really considered going back to Femodene this morning. The specialist recommended Utrogestan / oestrogel and my GP has said he doesn't prescribe that. It's a minefield
