Hi chicken tikka - yes the symptoms you mention can be part of peri-menopause (the years leading up to full menopause) but it is worth getting yourself checked out just to rule out anything else such as anaemia.

I'm not sure how old you are and where you are period-wise etc. Perhaps you would like to share a bit more about yourself so that we can help and advise you.

Dear Chicken Tika

These sound like menopause symptoms which can be so debilitating.  Personally I have suffered with the extreme tiredness and feelings of nausea which is just like morning sickness plus what I can only describe as an inner stress which is horrible and must be coming from my adrenal glands.  Anxiety feelings are awful and many of the women on the site can testify to this.  The experience is so unsettling and exhausting.  I hope some of the other ladies can advise on possible help.  Wishing you strength to get through.

The anxiety is the worst symptom of all. I have suffered with anxiety on and off for years, but after hysterectomy almost five years ago it's gotten a lot worse. My doctor said my B12 was low and has given me injection, she reckons this is causing the severe tiredness. I too feel sick a lot and achy all over, and no matter how many tests I have I'm Still convinced there's something wring with my heart. The fear of dying is sometimes overwhelming. This forum is a real comfort, just knowing your not alone and being able to talk about your symptoms and share your fears is so helpful, so sorry about how your feeling but take some comfort that you are not alone x
