....... where 2 residents died. Survivors have been taken to various places including the Marriott hotel. Many in the community have taken clothing, wheelchairs, walking sticks etc. to an emergency 'pick up' point which have since been delivered to the Marriott as residents have lost everything. I wonder how I would react in such circumstances? So difficult for elderly with limited mobility, I wonder how many fire service advisors go and suggest drill strategies in each care home? Something to consider for those here who have relatives 'in care'?
The Hospital I went to had theatres on the very top floor as well as Orthopaedic Ward on floor 4
- not a lot of sense in that design then!
