Cold flushes
« on: April 03, 2017, 08:24:24 PM »

Hi I'm sending this again in a different area as I've put it on new members by mistake. I wondered if anyone gets wat I can only describe as cold feeling rushing through my body. My arms torso and face. It started today and I feel so dreadful. My period finished 2 days ago but I feel like I'm due to start again. It's like cold adrenaline surges or flushes I feel a bit sick and dizzy wen it comes on aswell. It's a new one for me can anyone help please  :(

I get something similar; a feeling of being chilled to the bone in my torso and upper arms. I also have a constant feeling of trembling. These are far worse than the mild hot flushes. Since starting HRT the flushes (which I didn't mind!) have stopped, but the chills and trembling are still continuing.

That's it rockie it comes with inner trembling. I've had it a bit today aswell and it feels like ur bones r cold as opposed to skin. It's crazy. I do believe that the reason I've never heard of all these things happening to people until I came on to this site is because it's so hard to decribe and we cud be perceived as just moaning all the time (which I do lol) I've known lots and lots of ladies thru out my lifetime and it this age aswell at not once have I heard any mention of these dreadful symptms other that hot flushes. It was only wen it started happening to me that I was aware of it all. Thank god for this forum we and being in the day and age where we can communicate in this way. I wud have been sectioned by now I think  :cuss: ;)

Mumalmighty, not sure it's quite the same as you but I've been having hot flushes and then feel freezing cold.  My layers are going on and off at great speed!  Very annoying!!

S x

This! This is me the last few weeks. Am about to strip some layers off as I type because I can feel a hot wave coming on.  ::)

I'm trying to work out if it's tied in with the fact that my period should have started a couple of weeks back. If, and when Aunt Irma decides to show up, I'm rather hoping these temperature fluctuations might ease up.  ???
