Hi Ladies

I am new here, I have been taking femoston 1/10 for 6 weeks now and 3 of those I have been bleeding
I have not had a period in 4 months and I am 45 years old.  I was having bad night sweats which have now

calmed down but the insomnia is driving me crazy !!!    Do I need a higher dose or a different HRT ?? does anyone know /

Early days. You are still peri meno and Your own hormones will be fluctuating and probably causing the erratic bleeding. Give things more time to settle. Don't increase dose as this could make things worse at this stage. If after 2-3 months things haven't settled then You need to review things. DG x

This happened to me on Femostan. If after 3 months the bleeding is irregular still, go to your GP.

As you are 45, your GP should fast track you for investigations and you should get an appointment for a scan in 2 weeks.

These are NICE guidelines so should be followed by your GP. It turns out I had Fibroids and Adenomyosis- unfortunately it took me 3 years to find out as my GP didn't refer me. Wish she had as it would have saved lots of pain and suffering.

my doctor has now recommended that I try femoston 2/10 after 7 weeks of bleeding, well not really blood but
brownish discharge do you think this is the right thing to do
