Yes your second link is the one I was talking about - and I see it is also referred to in the paper you linked to -  the Langer paper RCOG statement. I did find that link when I was looking for the 2013 paper to link to, but as I said it is not freely available unfortunately which is very annoying!

However I see also that there is a consensus statement on HRT from the BMS dated September 2016 which also says the same as all the other info. I don't think any GP could argue with all of this!!! https://thebms.org.uk/publications/consensus-statements/hormone-replacement-therapy/

I really think that all this information should be published in full online and not have to be paid for - since I imagine most of the evidence was obtained using funding from public sources?!

Anyway it is all very interesting but frustrating not to be able to see what the actual papers are saying....
