Yes your second link is the one I was talking about - and I see it is also referred to in the paper you linked to - the Langer paper RCOG statement. I did find that link when I was looking for the 2013 paper to link to, but as I said it is not freely available unfortunately which is very annoying!
However I see also that there is a consensus statement on HRT from the BMS dated September 2016 which also says the same as all the other info. I don't think any GP could argue with all of this!!!

Anyway it is all very interesting but frustrating not to be able to see what the actual papers are saying....
