Well, sorry for my absence, I had a couple of really bad nights with discomfort down below and stomach ache/nausea, my period started and my bp was sky high!
I was fed up so booked an emergency appointment with a gp, by which time I'd worked myself up into a right state. I've got some different antibiotics and the culture should be back today to see if they're okay, I also asked the doctor if I really couldn't have hrt when my blood pressure was raised and see said that we'd get the infection sorted out, see if my blood pressure stabilised as she thinks its the infection making it high, and then take it from there, so I'm slighly more optimistic and think that the nurse is being over cautious. I've bought some red clover to try, but I'd rather take proper hrt.
Anyway, I'm hoping that in a couple of weeks I'll be able to report back that I've managed to get some - fingers crossed!
