Hi all
Whilst browsing a few things online, I came open this fact sheet from Women's Health Concern. The Menopause Matters site is brilliant for info and advice but sometimes it can be difficult to find other sources that can offer simple information, so I thought I'd post this in case it would be help.  We get so many women visiting MM that struggle to absorb all that the site has to offer, they are confused and frightened about what they are going through (sadly pick up on some negative experiences with HRT on the forum) - sometimes women just need a clear outline that is a good starting point. This fact sheet explains in a simple way exactly what is happening from peri through to post meno and I feel it reflects the NEW NICE guidelines in a concise way.
This ‘fact sheet' should be in leaflet form in every GP surgery.
