PID Anyone?
« on: September 17, 2016, 02:21:01 PM »

Anyone have experience of PID. I've been in deep pain for months and also feeling very hot. I've had some tests run including swabs which were very painful and have tested positive for mixed anaerobes. I'm now on metronidazole high dosage of 400mg x 3 per day and wondering if it's possible that due to untreated infection what I'm experiencing is PID rather than severe worsening of peri menopause. In particular very painful lower abdomen, general aches, pains and fatigue. Also perhaps the heat I am experiencing has been a fever. I'm confused :(

I would think that it is to do with the infection Supernova. They are difficult to treat and can be quite nasty. Look after yourself.
