I wonder if any one can give me an idea to what could be going on please. Through out my years at pmt time I have had the odd little boil, but that's it. I'm peri menopausal and still very unsure how it all works. But, I've been getting these on my face and scalp especially this last 2 months continuously. Am I right in thinking they're probably hormone related as I haven't introduced anything new to my lifestyle?

Can I just add that I do feel cheeky as I only ever post questions for myself and never give advice to any of you. It's not because I don't care - I just don't know enough to understand to warrant a good enough reply.

I too have recently started having 'lumps' under m y skin like a boil is about to erupt but it doesn't  so of course, I give it a squeeze ………  and now the areas are either sore or dry so I try to remember to put Savlon on. 

I think I'm lazy in facial hygiene  …….. it's all I can do to get out of bed each morning.  I do have the teen facial wash to use (can't remember the name  ) which usually works …….

Yes mine are like that. Get the redness but no pleasure in squeezing

  …….. I prefer a spot to 'pop' with pressure 

Maybe I'll try very hot water on the spots to cleanse them.
