so pleased I found this forum helped me so much over the last week. Just when I thought my periods where done I started with a brown bitty light show.it lasted a week but hardly anything really I panic at the slightest thing but have worked myself into a right state. I'm having a scan Friday morning but I'm thinking the worst. At least I did get myself to the Drs and also had a smear last week. I feel sore as if I'm ovulating which I think could be nerves. Will let you know how I get on. 😥😥

Did your GP do the smear, our Nurses do them here. Maybe it's a 'nick' in the skin which is causing the brownish discharge but your GP is correct - a scan is essential. Unlikely to be anything 'wrong' and gives you a base line to work from.
Have a browse round. Make notes! Try not to worry too much

Hi Bambam45 and welcome to MM - this is not unusual but you are right to get it checked for peace of mind.

Who is going to the Hospital with you? You could ring the Dept and explain that you are anxious and ask to explain the procedure?

call me stupid I went for my scan bladder full and took some calms so was in the zone handed my letter over and I'm a month out with my appointment it's not till the last Friday in May. The receptionist did try to squeeze me in but they where to busy. Thankfully they have room for me on Wednesday evening. Have decided I'm going to put it out of my mind and just be thankful we have such a good health service that looks after us. Thank you for your messages ;)xxxxx
