Started my packing today for Spain on 19th, I'm like a kid getting all excited

But the most amazing part was trying things on, I've gained 10lb so have lost my flat tummy and gained some chunky thighs but today I realised I actually still look nice !

That in itself is a major improvement for my confidence

Pennyfarthing  my holiday dread is not just this holiday it's any holiday even a weekend away, i don't like anything different at the moment, I like routine. It's not going to stop me having holidays I just need to keep calm and keep busy for the few days before we go.

I can feel claustrophobic in small spaces but I am lucky that we have balcony cabins so fresh air is no problem, the ship is like a floating hotel, plenty of bars, restaurants and swimming pools.

Enjoy Majorca I hope it's cooler than Ibiza was last week, the temperature was approaching 100 degrees even the locals were complaining  :o

We're not going until 2 Oct.  :).   I hadn't realised so many people suffered with anxiety about holidays until a few years ago when I was diagnosed with PTSD following a horrible incident.

My friend hates holidays because years ago her Dad died while she was away abroad on holiday.  She can just about manage 4 or 5 days away in this country now but she worries the whole time about her animals left at home but cared for by neighbours.

I too worried about my pets, in their last 2 years we went out for days but I had to be home by bed time ;-).

What's a flat tummy?  I've forgotten I ever had one!    ;D. I've lost 13 lbs so should get stone award next week.  I can't ever imagine having a flat tummy.

Lol yes I was size 8 with flat tummy and no stretch marks (4 births)

I'm now a tight 10, comfy 12 with swelling from under boobs to lower tummy with wide backside and chunky thighs but trying on my bikini bottoms yesterday I took a good look and thought 'not too bad' ! Which is strange because I've been feeling so despondent over my change of shape and gain lately

Dunno about the go naked bit but I feel positively skinny beside the big German women. They just don't care .... They love their food and booze and tiny bikinis.  Last summer we stayed beside a German hotel and we used to have to walk past their pool and OMG some of them are massive but they don't mind .... So good on them!  My late MIL was German and quite slim but BIG relatives used to come over and were just the same and their hubby's adored them!

I only take bottoms as I go topless .
Yes my brother is going last 5 days of the holiday and his 'friend' is a tiny size 8 but I don't care, I told her I'd be a good shade lol

Left for snowdonia this morning stopping half way over night in a premier inn, then meeting the rest of our family for breakfast in the morning and then all of us setting of for our holiday cottage. It took 6 and a half hours to do a 3 hour trip several hold ups. Hope the rest of the journey is quicker.

I simply HATE those journeys that should take a certain time but due to hold ups take much longer: that infuriates my bladder too!

Enjoy Welsh Wales ;-)
