Did you go into Gloucester Docks where the Warehouses have been renovated into offices, shops, flats but the names of the Companies have been left printed on the brickwork?

I can't face a holiday right now  :sigh:

I dont choose, my brother and fiance do under my instructions of nice shower/toilet facilities !

Let me know where you stay and what the site is like?  Handy for the coast ;-), there's a mill close by that used to do a good cuppa with cake, of course the name escapes me  ::).  Also apparently Charles I stayed in DM when he was 'on the run'.

I need to book our camper in for a new roof  :o - so that's Yorkshire again then  ::) - otherwise it's days out.

Lakeside campsite at Denver, Downham market

Lovely site, surrounded by 3 lakes, a woods, nice washing facilities and although there's sites rules our immediate neighbours aren't adhering to them and worse still the wardens aren't checking on anyone, next door parked their car on our pitch when we arrived but were out on a bike ride so we had to pitch way forward with no spare electric lead and the 3 families opposite drink and party til gone 1am and their kids wake up 6am!

But it's not stopping us enjoying our weekend

That's where the "Jennings Arms" is - used to serve good grub.  Yachts?

Too anxious to book anything right now  :sigh:

So pleased that the jenyns arms still serves good grub! Went there for a wedding celebration in the 1980s.

How's the camp site?
