Going on a weekend trip to London organs, in June, with local organists.   We get to play them, as well as listen to them.  Not exactly holidays, but should be fun.    :)

Exciting GD!

I'm getting taken away for my 60th this year. It's a surprise destination. I think it is the USA. But I'm not bothered.

Oooh! Exciting!!
I'm a bit like a toddler myself, I can't do 'not knowing', the suspense would be doing my head in!  ;D I'd be stropping!  ;D
I like the idea of it though!
When will you find out? When you turn up at the airport?  :D

DH and the kids are thick as thieves and not saying a dickybird about any arrangements. They just keep giving me those 'We know something you don't know' looks.  ::)
All I can say is it better feature white sands and sapphire blue seas!  ;D

I don't know when I will find out.... maybe on my birthday, or at the airport.

Ooh and Cubagirl getting a surprise too??  :D

Hope , if my hubby ever surprises me that it would be a total and INSTANT surprise, like on the day!!  Or , say if we were off to Sainsbury's to do a shop he takes a quick detour to the airport and produce a packed suitcase out of the boot!  :D

We're flying to Denver in May, as DH is going to a conference/course, then will have a tour around Wyoming and the Rockies, before flying to Portland Maine, possibly via Montreal to see an elderly relative. We will stay with our son and family in their summer home by a lake, no doubt looking after our granddaughter some of the time.

Then later in the year, we are going back to North Wales near Bangor. We are renting the same house as we did with my DD and family 2 years ago. I wrecked the holiday that time by having gall stone attacks every day and seeing snowdonia from the back of an ambulance! A visit  A & E will not be in our holiday plans this time!

I may also visit the USA on my own to stay with my son again, if I can use my Virgin points on a flight. More GD time!

Oh, that sounds wonderful, Ju Ju!   One day I want to visit Canada.  It's definitely on my go-to list!  Have a lovely time on your travels.    :)

How lovely, GD! Yes, messaging makes keeping secrets easy! But they still have to ensure you are in the right place at the right time.

My DD has arranged with DH that I am here earlier in the day, before going off to MIL half an hours journey away from here. Busy day for her! I suspect GS has been roped in to help with a card making session! Tractors draped in daffodils perhaps?  ;D

DH has suggested going to Ireland via Holyhead on the ferry after spending a week in north wales with our DD and family. Another tick on the bucket list while he has some money! I'm just happy to follow in his wake! He's also threatening to take me to all the football league stadiums in Britain! I say fine as long as I can stay in the car park with a good book or better still, if there's a shopping centre nearby, go and spend HIS money!   ;)

It's my 60th next month so have just booked a weeks touring holiday, going to Lake Como, St.Moritz and a trip on the Bernina Express.  I love lakes and mountains.

Oh wow blossom60 - I've been to Lake Maggiore years ago on conference... the Italian Lakes are so beautiful. Enjoy every minute  :)

Still no idea what my family are up to. They've even taken to wiping out the browser history so I can't take a sneaky peak. I taught them well ;)
