Another familiar name gone. The generation before us is passing away and soon we will become the older generation. He will be remembered.

I was wondering during the week how Sir Terry was …….. having missed
Children in Need
last November, not much had been mentioned in the media since. Brian Darcy was in tears during his memories, talking about his close friendship with Terry and Lady Helen.

Yes so sad! He has been around as an entertainer for virtually my whole life. I heard the news just a few minutes ago. I had been aware that he missed Children in Need in 2015 but didn't know how serious it was.

I used to love listening to his gentle humour on the radio during the school run each morning. A sad loss.
RIP Terry. DGx

I loved the Janet and John stories! I'd be late for work sometimes - holed up in the car park listening to the end! What a sad loss

Anyone remember the Stones and Pebbles - putting them onto the balcony to get the morning sun? (maybe too early in his career for many of you
)
I tell you what - the music on Radio2 this morning has been great ………

I remember my long drives to work in the late 70s chuckling at his banter about traffic cones and other important things in life.

Just seen Telegraph's tribute. A sad Pudsey holding his spotted hanky limply. Perfect.

I woke up to a Janet and John story this morning
Such a pleasure.
No idea what it was about - I was too sleepy.

The 1 Show have a tribute later ……..
Presenters on the whole this morning were quite chipper - Jeremy Vine however, was making a real meal of it, we don't often listen to him anyway but we switched off ………..

very sad, listened to Wogan since I was child as Mum used to listen to him every day. I was a 'TOG' I am wearing my TOG Sweatshirt today. Met Deadlycote a couple of times doing the Quiz Nights.
Steve Wrights tribute is today I think.
