Still No Mention of Fibromyalgia in A-Z of conditions
« on: January 18, 2016, 02:54:17 PM »

I highlighted this in early October and it is too bad that neither Fibromyalgia or ME are listed when they affect thousands of women.  If you are unfortunate enough to suffer FM while going through the menopause you will be double affected with many of the symptoms or your FM will be exacerbated.  Somebody was going to remedy this but nearly 4 months later, still no mention of Fibromyalgia :( I hope this will be rectified as soon as by admins

Thanks. I don't know where to find Emma or the admins. One of them (may have been Emma) did say she'd take some notes and by that I assumed FM would be included in the list by now. It is not an obscure illness, by any means...

Or you could go to My Messages (small blue bar at top) and send a PM to Emma.
Emma is the administrator  :)

I believe Emma is the only admin.
Perhaps PM her again?
I'm surprised she's not responded yet, to either, your PM or this topic.
Hopefully, she'll get back to you soon

So here we are again...four months later (and not the first post) either.

It was Fibromyalgia Awareness Day yesterday May 12th and STILL no listing among the medical conditions.  It is frankly appalling to all the thousands of sufferers  >:(

Did U get a response from Emma?  If not, send a letter to Dr Currie in Scotland; you know, the old fashioned way - paper, envelope, stamp = ?  ;)

I did eventually but she was going to contact someone called Jenny?

Part of the problem with Fibromyalgia is debilitating fatigue so writing a letter the old fashioned way just won't happen.

I'm pretty appalled though with being  ignored in this fashion  >:(
