Instead of beating yourself up for not being positive, just celebrate being the wonderful you exactly as you are! Trying to be positive is doomed to failure, because it implies you are lacking and not good enough. Try being loving, kind and non judgemental, first to yourself, then to others. You have everything you need within. Those negative, sad thoughts come and they go. They are just thoughts. Don't chase them.

Happy New Year! All you have to do is be the beautiful you! Relax!

Im determined to lose the weight ive slowly put on since i gave up smoking.  2.5 stone is the amount im going to lose however im not going to go mad and starve myself just follow sw as I know it suits me.  I started it a few months ago lost 7 lbs and didnt feel deprived.  Christmas was my excuse to pig out and put it allback on again.  I know if I get to my goal weight first I can have a day of eating what I want as long as I go back to sw day after.  Just need to get to my target weight and I know I will be fine.  Like anything you chose to do it all about getting into the habit of doing it first then it will be easier to stick too.  My diet is not a diet its just changing my eating habits, diets are like chores so hard to stick to so you need to think of it differently.

I always think a newyear makes you reflect on what has been and what you want to do differently which is why maybe people come up with NY resolutions.

Whatever you ladies hope for or want to do this coming year I truely wish you all well and good health.

Happy New Year, everybody!

Well, my daughter's expecting me to de-stress and get fit by means of the yoga book she gave me for Christmas, so I suppose that's my NY resolution.................. ::)

New Year 2016 for us started at at 10pm (GMT) last night.
The logic being that it WAS 2016 in Athens.
That being the case, we had a glass of champagne each, toasted the new year and trundled off to bed at 11.15. Worked for me  ::)

Don't remember any resolutions being made.......................

Last year, I managed to achieve my one resolution. Not to set foot in an ambulance! I had 4 rides in 2014! This year I will avoid having an operation just before Christmas. Last year was the second year in a row. Other than that, I'm going to enjoy being me!
