diet!!!!!
« on: December 20, 2015, 08:23:05 AM »

Whos planning on dieting in the new year??  I am, however  rubbish at it.  I did start slimming world a few months ago and lost about 6lb.  I start off really well then it all goes out the window.  Defo though in the new year, im wanting to lose about 2.5 stone in which I should be able to get back into my size 12 clothes which are all store in them bags you suck the air out of.  If anyone else is planning on starting SW I would enjoy exchanging tips and ideas or anything to do with losing weight.

I've started mine already.  I'm using an app where you carefully monitor how much you eat, exercise etc. It's the only thing which keeps me on track. I used it faithfully 2 years ago & lost nearly 2 stones in 8 months. Stopped using the app & weight has crept on again. This time half a stone would make me happy, more would be better.

Nothing better than registering all the calories you eat in a day. App tells you when you're over your limit. I'm not perfect. The odd alcoholic beverage can tip me over my limit, so have to work even harder to shift it in the pool..

My M in L weighed everything she was allowed on a daily basis, it went into the fridge the evening before.  When each dish was empty, that was it until the next day.  Worked for her!

Exercise is important too.  Cooking from scratch and learning how to use 'left overs' is important.

An ad. promoting 'cheese strings'  :-\ ……… aimed at teens..  I thought that adverts were supposed not to target children or under 18s  ???

What ever they are, it's apparently a card swap drawer …….. they look awful  :-X
