Funny Head

Anyone get a funny sensation in their head.  I don't feel giddy and I haven't got a headache.  It feels as though someone has got hold of my head and is moving it around while I sit still.  Sounds mad I know ;D

Have had this for ages now, first a tight feeling like a band around my head and now have tingling scalp and feeling off balance with it. Have had lots of investigation to no avail but it gets me down.

Head zaps ………. sometimes a feeling that my brain is moving slower than the rest of my head  ::) as well as putting my foot down but not stepping where I thought I was going to …….. all 'normal' for me  ???

Totally identify with this. I get it when my estrogen is low rather than when it's too high. For some weird reason, it's always worse in shops with aisles? !

Thanks for reassuring me that it is normal.  My period started today so I guess my estrogen is at it's lowest.

Tension in the back of the neck = funny head feelings?

Thats interesting Briony, im wondering if that's what I get on the motorway, trying to keep in the white lanes which then makes me start to panic.

How weird - until I started on the BCP (ie higher dose of estrogen) I got to the point I would avoid fast roads. I could never decide if it was psychological (or else a brain tumour  ::) ) but I really hated the feeling and felt silly trying to describe it to people. Must add that I have also had my eyes tested and found that my eyes have changed massively (which has been put down to age and hormones) and I feel better with my new prescription.

I'm still avoiding fast roads and motorways due to this. I have had a few scares so all confidence is just gone.
I much prefer country roads which I know are more dangerous.....but quieter.
It's just not being able to stop that freaks me out.

I think also supermarket lighting does not help.

I found that supermarket lighting was awful a few years ago, the bigger the store the better the lighting seems to be.  However, I hate large  spaces  ::)
