With high seas, they probably sail straight onto the promenade.  ;D It's tough but someone's got to do it.  ::) Wonder if they draw straws.

Think it's still to come CLKD at least on this side of country. It appears that Western Isles, Orkney & Shetland have to get worst of it, but sure we'll catch the edge of it later.

Getting really stormy with torrential rain. If that's what were getting, heaven help those on the West Coast. You still with us HB or are you practising your Mary Poppins technique?  ;)

Still here and it's gone very very calm which is odd as it was coming in sideways an hour ago.

It's on it's way back though according to the forecast. All tiles still on the roof. Ferries cancelled on most routes.....You could have surfed today, there were a few out with the things with sails....brain freeze...what do you call them  ;D

I drove back this evening with leaves flying around all over the place, rain that looked like thin "sheets" and wind that made me scared about going round a particular bend in a seafront road.  All was well, but the wind is still what our daughter (when she was little) used to call "the hooo-ey wind".   Oh well, it's winter.

There were guys out on sailboards up here this afternoon. They were going at some speed too.

Breezy, but dry.

I looked up names for these storms. Next one will be Barney, that'll have me thinking of purple dinosaurs.  ;D
