Yep - definitely! Some water infections can make you feel really unwell especially if they become upper uti's rather than just affecting the bladder. Which antibiotic are you on as these can also make you feel tired? You need to rest as much as possible, difficult I know, and also drink lots of water to keep flushing the bacteria through.

Barley water? Diluted? I found the only way to feel anywhere near comfy was to sit on the loo so that all the muscles were relaxed - with a cuppa in one hand and a glass of fizzy water in the other. You ought to be off work whilst taking the ADs so that you can rest properly. Was your urine sample sent to a Lab. to make sure that you get the correct AB?

I would think it's the infection making you feel off colour. Do you intend to eat lots of LIVE yoghurt after you've stopped the ABs and do you have to take a sample in to make sure that the 'bug' has been killed?

ABs can strip the gut and digestive tract = thrush
. Great spoonfuls of LIVE yoghurt culture after the course has finished can replace the guts good bacteria.
