Body Heat
«

Was just wondering if anyone has an almost constant body heat. It is not all over my body, it is my cheeks, inner arms and inner thighs. I am not red and when I touch my skin in those places it is not warm.....but I feel warm. I do not have a temperature, I have taken it at least one hundred times!! Just very uncomfortable. I also have had my thyroid levels checked recently and they have come back normal........so frustrating! Hormones?
or something more sinister?

Hormones. I sometimes feel like I have boiling hot water running through my veins, yet skin feels normal to touch. Horrid!

I'm the opposite, especially these past two days. Keep getting half hours of random shivering, regardless of outside temperature. Am sure I'm not ill and it's definitely started since I began a higher dose of pill.
As you've already said here,
hormones
!

I get this sometimes in the night, keep touching myself and puzzling to feel cool skin when you feel you are about to burst with heat,

Oh my goodness I have been like this for most of this year and didn't think it was anything to do with menopause until I was out with friends about a month ago & one of them noticed I had sat all night fanning myself but when she felt me she said I didn't feel hot!!
then a couple of weeks ago my son got married and at the reception I spent most of the time fanning myself with a paper plate!! That was the day i got talking to another lady about HRT & the turning point for me....I started on HRT patches 11 days days ago & my body temp is now back to normal....for the first time in what feels like forever I actually feel the cold! I am totally amazed at how those pesky hormones were responsible all these months for my constant hotness !! I too never had flushes, just this constant hot feeling and I had to sleep with a fan on all night even in colder nights. It's great to feel cold now
