Just checked my pension date, 65years, 7 months and 5 days :'(

That's daft.  You are 3 years older than me yet you get yours 5 months before I do, when I am 66.

Of course if we get another election it could all change again  :-X

Do you think that the government mandarins reckon we girls are daft and cannot work out what they are playing at?  If it were the men of our Isles, there would be all hell let loose.  Just  thought!

You had me all wondering so rechecked. My 66th birthday. Why are there so many discrepancies? My friend is a month older than me, but has to wait until she is 67!

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/pensions/article-1679780/New-state-pension-age-retire.html

You can see the tables here, men are changing from 65 too 66 and it shows the dates which affect them too.

I agree PF. I told my friend that she must be mistaken, but she said she had letter stating it would be 67 before she got her pension. Only thing I can think of, some people paid small stamp years ago, until the changeover a number of years ago, I always paid big stamp, maybe that has something to do with it.  Remember the graduated pension of years ago?  It became defunct in the 70s. I got letter saying I would be entitled to an extra 2.5 pence per week. Wonder what I'll spend it on.  ;D

6 March 1961 is the cut off point for retiring at 67. Pretty sure it only goes by date of birth.

Thanks for the table Nearly50. It's all in there girls - all by date of birth. My best friend was born four months before me but gets her pension in March 2018 and I have to wait until May 2019.

There is a debate today at Westminster Hall about this - not sure how it will go. Info supplied via WASPI.

‘ACTION STATIONS, EVERYONE!
Good news! Grahame Morris, MP for Easington has secured a Westminster Hall debate for WASPI on next Wednesday, 5th July, 2.30-4.00 pm. He has also submitted an Early Day Motion (EDM) for MPs to sign to show their support http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2017-19/63.

As we know, Westminster Hall debates aren't binding on the Government, but this is an excellent opportunity to keep WASPI high profile within Parliament and to encourage all those MPs who have signed the WASPI pledge to stand by their word, sign the EDM and attend or speak in the debate.

Could you please get in touch with your MP, especially if they have signed the pledge, asking them to sign the EDM and attend the debate.

Connect Waspi will also be mounting an email campaign to MPs on this.'
