Had a couple of problems with it last week, but it seems okay now.
OH happy with BT Sport because they have the Champions League on it.

BTSport - hmmm
OH uses it to watch MotoGP but gets awful irritated because there's no timetable information, i.e. when do things (races/practices) start, also they can't be recorded

I got fed up with BTs prices so changed to Plusnet.....so much cheaper, and faster speeds.....we have broadband with them too.

Guess who owns Plus Net.....yep BT  ::)

I'm very happy with both the switch and service up until now.

For years I never changed anything ....now I'm happy to change the lot for a better deal. Just in the process of changing my gas and electricity to get a better deal. Better in my pocket.....and the more who change then eventually the better deals for all of us.

We planned on changing this year. But deals were pretty much same price. We're with Sky. We were stopped by Sky salesman yesterday in town, so hubby asked how we could reduce costs. Guy tries to sell fibre broadband for £10 more! Eh, no want to pay less not more, isn't that what reduction means?!

Sorry to be dim CLKD, when you say you can't access your e-mail addys, is that using a mail application like Outlook or Mail on Apple? I assume it is, given you say your DH will try computer later to access emails directly.

We run Macs - a computer and laptop
Internet Explorer
DH has sent an e-mail to BT earlier stating that we use Sport ; for which they now charge; only for MotoGP, how it was buffering yesterday at vital moments and that we will cancel if they don't get their Act together.  He can also access his e-mails better on the computer.

Hmm - Which operating system are you using on your Macs?
Hadn't realised IE was an option on Macs - thought it was Windows based.

OH had lots of problems yesterday with BT Sport yesterday buffering at daft moments - he uses Firefox on WindowsXP to get at it.

I think everyone was watching MotoGP - which is why buffering is not acceptable.  Can't even accept that it's better than nowt!!!

We have always had MACs and NEVER Windows - wouldn't give that hosueroom  >:(

That's what I thought ;)

I just thought Internet Explorer was just used on Windows, so was a bit surprised that you, or anybody really, would willingly put it on a Mac......

good luck with BT. The worst part of them is their customer service. I found email helpful lately as had a reply from someone in their tech division in England, not a call centre. Have you got fibre broadband or just broadband?
Have you recently updated your mac to Yosemite? Wifi problems on yosemite seem widespread.

BT annoy me so much with their ( predictable) passing on a £5 extra p.m charge for the Champions League footie. You already pay for HD, unlike with Sky where HD is standard.
