Everol Conti patches - Advice
« on: August 20, 2015, 09:58:28 PM »

I have been using the Everol Conti patches for about 4 weeks. I started with a third of a patch for a couple of weeks and felt okay in the beginning. I am now on half a patch and feel a bit nauseous. I don't want to give up as this is about my third attempt in trying to use HRT.
If you could please give me advice. Thanks

Hi vickupk, did you start on the patches for the flushes or other symptoms?

It does pass, give it a few days and you will be fine....

I started on Sequi....felt sickly...it went in a few days.

Changed to conti and was just fine.

Extra oestrogen can cause feelings of sickness but nibble during the day and don't let your tummy get empty and it should pass.

I started on 1/2 patch evoril conti about 3 years ago, did have a bit of nausea but it seemed to settle in a few weeks. I am now on a full evoril patch and can honestly say that all the time i have been on them they have worked well, just get the odd little set backs now and again but on the whole they are good. xx

Thanks so much for all your replies. Even though I am only using half a patch, the hot flushes, anxiety and sleeping are getting a bit better. Also felt more energy. The sickness hasn't been too bad today xx
