Hot Back?
« on: August 14, 2015, 06:26:36 PM »

I may have missed this, but not seen it anywhere so far.

Toffee just made me think about one of my weird ailments, so thought I would ask.

Anyone have hot lower back syndrome?  no idea what this is, but had it a few years, bottom of my back goes really hot at night and that is what causes the rest of me to overheat.  Anyone else have it, or hear of it? or am I just a weirdo :-\

Well.... ::)

When I had hot flushes it started around my middle and swept upwards, so I guess it starting in your back is not so unusual.

That's the thing about meno....no hard and fast rules.

When I took Tamoxifen I had cold flushes that would begin at the bottom of my shoulders and spread downwards  :-\ - again hormonal.

Thank you, that is interesting.  Sure I had that longer than the 3 years I have had everything else - mentioned this before, but for those who dont know, I put everything down to giving up smoking, everything seemed to happen after that, maybe some was before then ::)

Its a new word.  My daughter uses it all the time, might be a 'Lancashire' thing.

We are all Puddled here ;)

My flushes are mostly confined to my back. The bottom gets hot and up it goes. it rarely goes anywhere else.
